Have you ever heard about "fake" white pomfret?
well here it is above, it looks exactly like white pomfret but then the skin is yellowish in color. I have not tasted it yet. At first we thought probably they kept it too long in the coldstorage and it turned yellow but it seems no... it is already yellowish even in their fresh form. We found them in one of the factories in Lambongan, near Surabaya on the eastern part of Java Island. mmm probably I will import them to Malaysia to try it out one day...

Ooh, you sell them? or you have seen alot of them... so far we only buy the white ones and black pomfrets.. but for this I don't know much of its market.
